I’m writing to you today because it has been brought to my attention I may not fully understand my relationship and responsibilities as a citizen with your agency.
Please provide me with the answers to these questions as soon as possible due to the legal ramifications they imply. Thank you in advance.
1. Am I required to hold the DMV Director harmless as a condition of being granted the driving privilege?
2. Am I required to transfer my power of attorney to the DMV as a condition of being granted the driving privilege?
3. Are legal definitions used for terms such as: driver, person, motor vehicle, resident, driving?
4. As a condition of registering my car with the DMV am I granting a possessory or other interest in it to the DMV?
5. Is driving a commercial activity?
6. Is a motor vehicle a device or contrivance used for commercial purposes?
7. Upon being issued the driver license and plates, who owns these items, the issuee or the issuer?
8. Is it mandatory or voluntary to participate in the federal Social Security program?
9. Am I required to waive any constitutionally secured unalienable rights as a condition of being granted the driving privilege?
10. Is the nature of the relationship with the DMV contractual?
Your prompt reply to these questions will help me better understand the law and my responsibilities as a law abiding citizen.

The point of sending such an inquiry is to determine IF IN FACT YOU ACTUALLY ENGAGE IN WHAT THE DMV REGULATES. If you don't, YOU CAN NOT BE FORCED TO DECLARE THAT YOU DO!!!
